Claire closed eyes.

He kissed.

He compensates victim, no romantic shortcut.
Ch10 "THE MAN WHO CHOSE TO WALK AWAY FROM HIS THRONE" Daniel leaves control permanently? Sells majority into trust/employees, moves to legitimate foundation/security? He meets victim. Claire sees change from distance. Park trial etc. Claire decides maybe love can coexist with accountability.
Ch11 "THE CHRISTMAS HE DIDN’T ASK TO BE INVITED" Emma age 10/11? They reunite. Maybe Daniel's uncle Victor dies? Not needed. Claire invites him after a year separation. He and Emma reconnect. Daniel proposes? Not yet.
Ch12 "THE LAST MAN WHO THOUGHT EMMA WAS WEAKNESS" Marco betrays? Hmm. Need big climax. Maybe Marco receives old threat and hides info? Could have Victor's son Jae seeks revenge, tries to force Daniel to recant cooperation, targets Claire's home; but avoid repetitive kidnapping. Maybe Emma overhears at school? Better a custody-like danger not applicable. Could be Daniel kidnapped? But user wants drama. Let's have internal ex-associate abducts Daniel, not women, and Claire uses phone records / emergency plan to alert authorities, not vigilante. Daniel refuses to give up evidence. He survives. This proves Claire isn't damsel and Daniel protection doesn't center.
Then Ch13 happy marriage/family. Need 12 chapters total; currently 2-8 =7, need 9-13 =5. Good.
