Part 3: The Boardroom Raid

By 9:00 a.m. the following morning, the executive suite of Colson Development downtown was placed under total block.

Three plainclothes compliance investigators from the financial crimes task force stood rigidly by the glass entry turnstiles.

Kendra sat at the head of the mahogany conference table, her loud morning jewelry rattling as her hands shook over her files.

Alice sat right beside her, her previous tired indifference entirely replaced by terror as the state units entered.

"You cannot legally dissolve our operational infrastructure over a domestic family dispute, Walter!" Kendra shrieked.

"The real estate partnership holds a strict legacy exemption that shields our commercial deeds from your personal claims!"

"The legacy exemption was officially nullified by a federal grand jury warrant at midnight, Kendra," I told her flatly.

I walked into the boardroom wearing an immaculate dark blazer, my posture tall, my mind entirely focused on the numbers.

Naomi Pierce placed a black leather portfolio directly onto the glass table, completely covering their legal briefs.

The room's grand display monitors shifted, displaying the lodge security video stream on a permanent, high-definition loop.

The playback clearly captured the exact second Kendra ripped the white brace away, followed by the laughter of the relatives.

"The signature you used to authorize the Delaware development advance was an absolute identity theft," Naomi announced.

"You extracted the biometric authorization keys from Maddie’s clinical portal while she was under post-operative sedation."

The investigators immediately began sealing the server frames, permanently terminating Kendra's regional operating license.
