Part 3: The Boardroom Eviction

By 9:00 a.m. the following morning, the central executive office at Brooks Development was under total compliance block.
Three plainclothes investigators from the financial crimes task force stood rigidly by the main glass entrance of the high-rise.
Patricia Brooks sat at the head of the long mahogany table, her luxury lifestyle looking useless under the neon fixtures.

"This is an absolute abuse of parental proxy, Ryan!" Patricia shrieked, her voice rising to a sharp, defensive pitch.

Naomi connected her secure field tablet to the main display, illuminating forty pages of unredacted metadata.

The high-definition video clearly captured Brianna dragging me across the floor while Patricia watched from the hallway door.
