Part 3: The Boardroom Eviction

By 9:30 a.m., the main executive suite at Hale Real Estate Holdings was completely surrounded by compliance officers.

Daniel sat at the long glass table, his pressed shirt wrinkled, his hands shaking violently as he held his mobile phone.

Margaret stood right behind him, her socialite mask entirely ruined as she clutched a designer handbag.

"This is an absolute farce, Evie!" Daniel yelled as I walked into the room accompanied by Detective Miller.

"The family support agreement was a cross-collateralized contract that shields our home equity from your changes!"

"The family support agreement was a fraudulent instrument built on identity theft, Daniel," I stated coldly.

Naomi Pierce, our lead systems analyst, connected her secure field terminal to the room’s main projection display.

The monitors illuminated forty pages of unredacted metadata proving they had cloned my digital signature key.

They had used the replica key to secure a secondary mortgage extension on the Maple Ridge mansion without my knowledge.

"You didn't just smash glasses and throw me to the floor last night, Margaret," I said, looking into her gray face.

"You used my dental practice’s federal tax identification card to shield your personal luxury expenditures from an audit."

The corporate lawyers standing behind Daniel immediately closed their files, stepping away from the table in silence.
