Part 2: The Infrastructure Override

The confrontation in the third-floor suite did not dissolve into common family shouting.
Richard DeLuca stepped into the room, his polished oxfords crunching faintly against the edge of the rug as his hand flew up to adjust his silk tie.
"You are a seventeen-year-old maid, Maria," he hissed, his voice dropping into a dangerous, low growl. "You keep your head down, you scrub the floors, and you do not interfere with my son's medical diagnosis."
"Your diagnosis was an institutional lie, Father," Alexander announced, his voice carrying an administrative authority he hadn't used in three years.
He reached into the pocket of his black shirt and pulled out a thin, encrypted data drive bearing a federal compliance stamp.
"Maria didn't just help me stand up at midnight," Alexander continued, his eyes locking onto his mother's shaking hands.
"She helped me access the secondary network routing logs you used to siphon the firm's logistical insurance payout."
Isabella's socialite mask cracked instantly, her face turning from pale to a deep, toxic red under the chandelier's glow.
"That payout was redirected to cover our commercial development losses in Boston!" she screamed, her voice rising to a frantic pitch.
"The money belonged to the corporate holding group, Alexander! You have no standing to audit our private accounts!"
"I have standing under section twelve of the family asset covenant," I said, standing up smoothly from my knees.

"Before my family forced me into this mansion, I was the top mathematics student in my district, Mrs. DeLuca."
"And the forensic screen I completed on your ledger cards at 2:00 a.m. today proved the signature on the insurance waiver was a total forgery."
