Part 2: The Infrastructure Seizure

The transition from an active bridal shoot to a high-stakes federal execution took exactly ten minutes to finalize.

I didn't run to the fountain to find Ethan, and I didn't give Bradley’s corporate lawyers time to destroy the data.

I pulled a secure, black encrypted tablet from my leather clutch, activating the private network stream to the task force.

"Investigator Ruiz," I said when the senior financial investigator answered the field frequency.

"The baseline target has just received the transaction notification. His mobile device coordinates are locked."

"The shell company he used to route the three million dollars from Chloe's inheritance is officially unredacted," I stated.

Marcus Bell, my private trust attorney, stepped out from behind the trees, holding a thick leather portfolio.

He didn't look at my sister; he simply placed a certified asset-seizure warrant directly onto the stone bench.

"Bradley Reed," Marcus announced calmly, his voice dropping like an ax through the quiet clearing.

"Your administrative proxies at Vance Capital have been permanently revoked by a supermajority vote of the board."

"You used a cloned biometric signature from Avery's corporate registry to fund your offshore development debt last winter."

Chloe’s eyes widened, her hand dropping from her face as she looked at the red data bars updating on the tablet.

"This is an absolute lie, Avery!" she shrieked, her voice rising to a frantic pitch that echoed off the trees.

"Bradley has exclusive rights to those distribution permits! Our father signed the authorization papers!"
