Part 2: The Infrastructure Lockdown

The transition from a hidden basement sanctuary to an absolute, tactical counter-offensive took less than ten minutes to initialize.
Dante didn't waste a single second demanding answers about the six abandoned children I had been secretly mothering for eighteen months.
He reached into his tailored jacket, pulling out a encrypted satellite communications terminal to connect with his primary security grid.
"Marcus," Dante commanded into the receiver, his voice dropping into a flat, lethal whisper that made the basement walls vibrate.
"The Volkov crew has just compromised the perimeter structure at the northern sector apartment block."
"Initialize a total, permanent default sequence on their entire localized distribution network immediately."
Marcus Bell, Dante’s senior compliance and asset advisor, responded instantly from the central command skyscraper downtown.
"The tracking lines are fully active, Boss," Marcus reported, uploading forty pages of unredacted transaction summaries to Dante’s screen.
"The Volkov group has been using a secondary municipal housing account to hide their illegal warehouse leases in this district."
"They have been siphoning capital from the neighborhood development fund to finance their tactical expansion," he stated.
I stood up, keeping Lily and Jonah safely behind my shadow as the heavy thud of combat boots echoed from the floorboards directly above us.
"They thought they could use this condemned block as a blind spot for their operations, Olivia," Dante said, looking at me with absolute steel.
"But they completely forgot that I own the energy grid that powers every single light in this sector."

"Lock the circuit feeds, Marcus," Dante ordered, his jaw tightening into an unbreakable line of pure fury.
"We are going to execute an absolute foreclosure on their entire local asset structure before the morning shift."
