PART 2: THE DISMANTLING OF THE ROBLES LEGACY

PART 2: THE DISMANTLING OF THE ROBLES LEGACY

The front door swung open with a heavy, deliberate force. Three men in immaculate dark suits stepped into the marble foyer, led by Hector Vance, the chief corporate enforcer for Alexander’s private equity firm. They didn't look like security guards; they looked like liquidators.

Hector walked past Javier without a single glance, stopping right beside Alexander. He handed him a sleek leather folder. "The emergency board meeting just concluded, sir. The restructuring has been authorized."

Javier's mother, Carmen, tried to find her voice, her gold jewelry rattling against her wrist as she stepped forward. "Alexander, please! This is a private family matter. There has been a misunderstanding. Sofia had a... a minor fall at the hotel reception."

"A fall?" Elena stood up from the floor, her voice cutting through the room like a razor blade. "Forty slaps, Carmen. Forty. You locked my daughter in a hotel room with six of your sycophants because you wanted her $1.8 million Uptown condo. You thought she was a helpless girl with a broken family."

Elena stepped closer, her eyes locked onto Carmen’s face. "You forgot that her father has the power to erase your entire line of credit with a single phone call."

Javier stammered, his legal training completely failing him under Alexander’s intense glare. "Mr. Mendez, listen to me... the condo transfer was just a standard pre-nuptial asset integration proposal. My mother was just being passionate about our financial future."

"Passionate?" Alexander turned his head slightly, looking at Javier. "Your firm, Robles & Associates, handles the secondary real estate portfolios for my logistics conglomerate. You survive on my crumbs, Javier. You drive a car bought with my retainers. You wear a suit paid for by my signatures."

Alexander looked back at Hector. "Execute the default clauses. All of them."

Hector opened his tablet, his fingers tapping the screen with cold, mechanical precision. "Done, sir. As of 3:42 a.m., the ten-million-dollar commercial line of credit extended to Robles & Associates has been revoked for breach of character covenants. The bank has initiated an immediate asset freeze on all joint family accounts."

Carmen let out a sharp, choked gasp, her face turning an ugly shade of ash. "You can't do that! That's our corporate operational capital! We have a payroll on Monday!"

"You don't have a firm anymore, Carmen," Alexander said, his voice flat, completely devoid of emotion. "By 9:00 a.m., the Texas Bar Association will receive the hotel corridor surveillance footage showing your son standing outside that door while you assaulted his wife. Javier's license will be suspended before the sun sets."
