Harrison’s face turned an ashen, deathly shade of grey as he flipped through the printed bank receipts in the folder.
"Claire... please," he stammered, his voice dropping into a desperate whisper that his mother couldn't hear from the sofa.
"If the compliance department flags those international transfers before the morning trading session, the entire logistics merger will collapse."
"I listed those offshore shares as my primary collateral for the downtown real estate project."
"Then you should have thought about your collateral before you let your mother treat my bank account like an unrestricted ATM, Harrison," I said.
