PART 19: THE FALL OF THE ARCHITECT

The takedown of Minister Kravchenko did not involve weapons.
It took exactly seventy-two hours of financial warfare.
Camila sat in the communication bunker of the Viet Tri estate, her eyes bloodshot but sharp as she directed a multi-pronged assault on the Russian energy market.
Alejandro stood beside her, his phone connected to the prime minister's office in Moscow.
"Kravchenko used state-owned tankers to move unregistered crude through our Malaysian terminals," Camila explained to the board of directors on the secure video call.
"He thought he could use intimidation to force us to clear his ghost fleet."
She hit a single key on her laptop.
"I have just released the tracking data for those specific tankers to the international maritime court."
"By noon, his entire fleet will be impounded."
On the main monitor, the news feed suddenly cut to a live broadcast from Moscow.
Federal agents were shown entering Kravchenko’s luxury estate, leading the powerful minister out in handcuffs under charges of high treason and international smuggling.
Kravchenko looked at the cameras, his face twisted in a mask of defeat, realizing too late that he hadn't attacked a helpless businessman.
He had attacked a sovereign family.
Alejandro ended his call and placed his hands on Camila’s shoulders, his thumbs gently massaging the tension from her neck.
"It's over," he murmured.
"The ministry has issued a formal apology to our logistics group."
Camila closed her eyes, letting her head drop back against his chest.
"I'm tired of fighting, Alejandro," she whispered.
"Then stop," he said softly, kissing her forehead.

"The empire can run itself now."
"We’ve built a wall that nobody else is brave enough to climb."
